My name is Asia Mleczak; I’m a game localization specialist, leader of a game localization team, and author of game localization workshops, training, and courses. I’ve been working in the game localization industry for over ten years. Here are a few facts about me:

FAQ: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

“I will be a game localizer” is an e-mail course. This means that all materials you’ll receive in your e-mail. Every day, you’ll receive emails from me with PDF materials with the course content about game localization for ten days. I’m sending emails daily, but it’s up to you when to work on the exercises or read through the materials, it’s up to you. 

The course is available in English or Polish. In this course, you’ll find a translation exercise (day 9: Boss fight) with feedback on it (day 10: Once the dust settles) – The source text of the exercise is English, and comments are related to general aspects of game localization, to make the course as universal as possible. 

As linguistic and regional aspects are crucial for game localization, the course will be updated with additional notes for your language pair upon purchase. I’ll do my best to get you the updated version within 10-11 days, so you receive it just for the game localization exercise 🙂 

If you want to purchase this course but with the source text in a different language, contact me after purchase. (It’s the international premiere of the course hence new language pairs are a work in progress and prioritized by purchases).
